Item Development of Hybrid Composite Material Using Bio Waste Particles For Sustainable Development(NHCE, 2026) Kousik Sree D V -1NH22ME031 Sundara Rajan A -1NH23ME402This investigation fabricates sustainable hybrid bio-composites from lantana camara (invasive weed), hemp fibers, VBR 8912 epoxy, and 5 wt% groundnut shell powder via compression molding (185-200°C, 2500 psi) with 5% NaOH fiber activation. Locally sourced lantana (10 mm shreds, 80°C dried), hemp, and micronized shells (10 μm) form 60-90 wt% reinforcements. NaOH roughens surfaces, boosts crystallinity (XRD ~22° 2θ), and enhances adhesion (SEM/EDAX). Comprehensive testing—ASTM mechanics (D3039/D790), TGA (30-600°C), UL-94 flame, acoustics (2-6 kHz), HFM—validates lightweight panels for automotive trim, insulation, and structures, valorizing wastes for circular economy impact.
