    A Project Report on Performance Analysis of Large Scale Compilation Workload Using PerfAccel

    To develop this project we are using Linux shell scripting. In this project no database is being used, because it is not needed. The whole project will be a script and whenever the script will run it will perform the performance analysis by doing the specified tasks. The script is written in a fashion, so all the specified jobs will be executed twice one with the PerfAccel and one without the PerfAccel software. This application will applicable only on Linux Platform. So Centos 6.5 and above Operating System, which has PerfAccel software installed will be Prefferable. PerfAccel this is the software product of our company, it will analyze the IO operation performed, and based on that it will produce a detailed report as result. Shell scripting is the core language used for this project, as it is a linux based application, so all the performance measuring task has been done by using the shell scripting. To develop this application lower level details are very much important, the developer needs to have understanding of the linux operating system.
