Cerner Inventory Discovery Dashboard

To discover the IT infrastructures, present in Cerner for auditing purpose and to track it there is an application named as BMC Discovery (formerly: Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping) which will discover details about IT infrastructure including accurate hardware and software inventory information on servers and network devices. In Cerner there are many environments, such as CernerASP, Global and etc. In each environment tons and tons of IT infrastructures are present, for each environment if we want to check the scans and counts to analyse IT infrastructures detail, ADDM admins have to login to each environment’s in BMC Discovery and analyse. Which is a manual task and very much time consuming. To overcome this Cerner Inventory Discovery Dashboard will come into picture. Cerner Inventory Discovery Dashboard is a high-level representation of discovery status for all the servers in Cerner Network and a remediation repository. The Dashboard displays a Graphical view of current scans status with host counts, overall and environment wise. The Dashboard will also show a graphical status by comparing current and previous discovery scans, a tracking trend weekly and monthly. A record to maintain details of remediated No Access Servers, issues faced by team with resolution details.
