    Design of Assessment Query for Traditional Reporting

    Assessment Query Design project is aimed to reduce the time involved during the software upgradation process. Assessment is the first step in software upgrade project.Theassessment phase in the upgrade project involves investigating the front ends application to collect information on the functionality/requirement used by the client. The Healthcare software suite consists of various applications like Registration, Radiology and Laboratory etc. Each application will have an assessment document which captures all the information that is required for the upgrade project, these documents consist of questions pertaining to the application functionalities. The current upgrade approach involves fetching data from front end applications with manual effort, this process is very time consuming.A typical Assessment phase in healthcare domain takes 8 days to identity and confirm all the functionalities in the client domain. Usingassessment query design project, we would like to automate the process of assessment phase in the upgrade project. With this approach we would be querying the database directly instead of manual effort. The data retrieved from the database would be 100% accurate than the traditional method. Using this method it is also possible to build analytics around the user workflow and identify the most used workflows and decide the customization opted by the client during their implementation. For each question in the assessment document we would be developing a database query that will fetch the desired results. Once these queries are ready these are aggregated as a program to fetch all the information together in a structured format to fill the assessment document.
