Item Project report on garage management system(New Horizon College, 2026) Bibin Binu, U19KU23S0036The automotive service industry faces growing challenges in managing garage operations efficiently. Traditional methods involving paper-based job cards, manual inventory tracking, and disconnected billing systems result in operational inefficiencies, data loss, and poor customer experience. PitStop is a web-based Garage Management System developed to digitize and streamline all aspects of a modern automotive garage. It supports three distinct user roles — Admin, Mechanic, and Customer — built entirely in PHP with a MySQL relational database. The system enables appointment booking, real-time job card management, spare parts inventory tracking, invoice generation, and role-based dashboard access. By replacing antiquated, fragmented workflows with a centralized digital ecosystem, PitStop optimizes resource allocation and minimizes vehicle turnaround time. Customers can seamlessly schedule service appointments online, while mechanics receive instant updates on assigned tasks and digital job cards, effectively eliminating communication bottlenecks. Simultaneously, administrators gain high-level visibility over the workshop floor, allowing them to track parts depletion, monitor technician productivity, and automate complex billing processes. The frontend is styled around a dark luxury racing aesthetic with glass morphism, neon red accents, and carbon-fiber textures, creating an immersive, premium, and highly responsive user interface that mirrors the high-performance nature of the automotive world
