It is compulsory for every student to take up a project work in an industry, besides it gives an exposure of working atmosphere of the office, it also gives an experience, to apply the theoretical knowledge that we have learnt, to the practical problems of the Industrial project that they undertake. Therefore, I have taken up the project at LKP Financial Service Ltd and have undertaken the study in Anticipated WPI, CPI inflation on short term interest rates. This study will help the company in the better management of its inflation on short term interest rates and thus improve the performance of company. The relationship between the expected inflation and rate of interest was presented by Irving fisher in 1930‟s, numerous controversies and writing have encompassed this relationship, According to Fisher nominal rate of interest can be considered as the total of real rate of interest and foreseen inflation by the business sector.
