Design and Development of Solar Tracking and Cleaning System of Solar Panel
    (2018-06-22T11:40:17Z) G K, Balaji; George Mervyn, Charles; Arvind, Kumar.R; Ganga, Sagar.G
This project deals with the design & development of Solar Light Tracking and Cleaning System of Solar Panel. In this Project, firstly The Use of LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) and Tilting Mechanism will be incorporated with the solar panel in order to tilt the solar panel in different angles (Example-45degree (Sunrise) , 180 degree(solar azimuth angle), 45 degree(sunset)) in a single axis in order to absorb more amount solar energy from the sun. Thereby we are incorporating tilting mechanism. Secondly, the amount of solar energy absorption by the solar panel also depends on how clean the it will be, because if the solar panel is accumulated with dust, then the energy concentration will be low which would bring down the efficiency of it. So, will also be dealing with incorporation of a cleaning system above the solar panel with a wiper and a water sprinkler with a rack and pinion mechanism to clean the panel periodically and automatically, so that one does not need to worry about the solar panel dust accumulationin his home/work area
