The demand for sustainable energy solutions is increasing as nations strive to address pressing challenges of climate change, environmental degradation, and the depletion of natural resources. Main significant contributors to environmental issues is the transportation sector, particularly the widespread use of internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles that rely on fossil fuels. These vehicles emit harmful pollutants, such as carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and particulate matter, contributing to air pollution and climate change. To mitigate hazardous environmental impact of conventional vehicles, the transportation industry is shifting towards electrification. Electric vehicles (EVs) are at the forefront of this revolution, offering a clean and sustainable option to gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles. Electric vehicles have gained substantial traction over the past decade, with increasing numbers of consumers and businesses making the switch to EVs. Transformation is driven by several factors, including growing environmental concerns, improvements in battery technology, and the rising availability renewable energy sources. EVs are powered by electricity stored in rechargeable batteries, and unlike their internal combustion engine counterparts, they produce zero emissions. It makes EVs an environment friendly choice for personal and commercial transportation, as they help reduce use of fossil fuels and reduce harmful gas emissions.
