    (2018-06-21T08:09:12Z) Aditya, A; Avinash, C; Dheeraj, P.A; Srivatsava, K
The black cotton soil possess less stability, less shear strength and large expansion and shrinkage in volume with changing seasons. Hence, we must increase the compressive strength of black cotton soil with the use of quick lime and polypropylene. Black cotton soil occupies nearly 23% of the area in India is a problematic soil, available up to a depth of 3.7 meters on a average. Innovative methods of soil stabilization are in great demand all over the world. The demerits obstruct construction like big infrastructure, road pavement, etc. on the soil. These soils cause more extensive damage than even natural disasters.
