Item Comparitive Study of Conventional Concerete With Jhama Bricks Concrete(2025-04-24) Harshitha M B; Shirisha M; Sneha K M; Vinay S NConcrete is regarded as the most widely used building material worldwide. Water, sand, cement, and an aggregate of rock make up typical concrete compositions. The coarse aggregate in concrete is the main topic of this project. In conventional concrete, the coarse aggregate of rock will be swapped out for the other element. This will involve Jhama or burn brick. The availability of this material led to its selection. The brick production sector is the source of the burned brick. Many bricks are rejected in the brick-making process as well because they don't meet the necessary standards. The brick's warped shape, which results from the kiln's uneven temperature management, is one of these significant nonconformities. Additionally, these abandoned bricks may provide as a source of coarse material. When coarse aggregate was substituted, workability was found to decline. The compaction factor showed that the percentage of coarse aggregate replaced by Jhama class brick bats varied from 9% to 12%.
