The effect of bracings on torsional response steel structure is studied in this work, in this work we are developed a model using a E-tabs software, The most common type of bracing are used those are x bracing, diagonal bracing, v bracing, and diamond bracing . The bracings are highly efficient and economical method of resisting of lateral force and it is response to decrease the lateral displacement of the building, the bracing system is important in earthquake resisting buildings it helps to keep a structure standing. A Bracing is a system that is provided to minimize the lateral deflection of structure. The members of a braced frame are subjected to tension and compression, so that they are provided to take these forces similar to a truss. The present study assesses the seismic response of steel structure with different angle of bracing system, in seismic design of steel structures, steel bracing is regularly adopted to resist the lateral forces. The optimum positions of the braces are generally determined by trial and error In this project work, we have studied about the comparison of different bracings. We considered four bracings like bare, diagonal, V and diamond bracings. By this bracings we will compared with each other. And also we have get the results by taking the three earthquakes. By the getting the results we will draw the graph for each bracings. Then by using the graph we will see the comparison with each other. Finally in which having the least value that kind of bracing is suitable for the structure.
