(2016-07-21T10:33:16Z) Md.Asadulla, Shariff; Abhay Pratap, Singh; Akshay, Rathor
Conventionally a scissor lift is used for lifting a load, to lift the body to appreciable height and many other applications. Also such lifts can be used for various purposes like maintenance and many material handling operations. They have a steady platform to work on surrounded by railed structure for safety measures. The name has been derived from the shape of the struts under the work platform , which are hinged and look like sets of scissor connected together. With ceaseless development of science and technology, more and more new types of technologies are applied to lift. The aim of this project is that it is easy to operate, cost effective and portable so that it will be used conveniently at industries, service center, domestic purposes and for the maintenance of the buildings etc. It is having more moving parts which may require only lubrication.
