Reducing PAPR Effect In OFDM Systems Using μ- Law Companding and SQRT Techniques
    (2015-12-09T07:07:14Z) Naveen, Kumar R
In the OFDM system, the performance of the system is affected by the peak average to power ratio (PAPR). Any non-linearity in the signal will cause inter-modulation distortion that raises the noise floor, may cause inter-carrier interference. generates out-of-band spurious radiation. All these distortions are caused by the increase in the PAPR. Here we need to decrease the PAPR component. This is achieved by applying the μ-law and SQRT law techniques.
