    Plan, Analysis and Design of Hospital Building

    Hospital building provides medical service to people. The main purpose of our project is to satisfies the medical needs of the people.This is proposed plan for a location at Begur. As the site we selected is located next to nice road where there isa lack of proper medical facilities near by.It is developing area.So we are proposing a hospital in this location . In order to provide services effectively, the hospital has to be well planned, analysed and designed. In this project, we aim to take up the role of responsible civil engineers in planning, analysing and designing a hospital building. The structural systems in the building are to be planned appropriately so as to be economical, functional and non-obstructive to the general functioning of the building. Schematic structural system for the proposed hospital block are to be detailed and appropriately named. Planning is done using AUTOCADD software Analysis of the structure is done using STAAD pro. Various load cases are used for the analysis so as to provide a structure that can withstand the various forces it may be subjected to during its service life. Design of structural elements is done using IS456-2000 (Plain and Reinforced Concrete -. Code of Practice). The design will aim to achieve Structural & functional integrity of the building and to meet the desirable Structural performance under characteristics service design loadings.
