    A Study on Financial Performance Using Trend Analysis at Sunil Agro Foods Ltd

The firm is a benefit making business in the assembling of Wheat items to be specific Maida (Wheat Flour), Sooji (Semolina), Atta - (Wheat Resultant Atta) and Bran (Wheat Bran) and additionally entire Wheat Atta separated out of wheat. Financial analysis is the process of identifying the financial strengths and weaknesses. In financial analysis the increase or decrease in the annual year is very important for the sector. Time series or trend analysis of ratios indicates changes in the sector over a specified period of time keeping the one year as base. The objective of the study is to understand the changes in the position of the fixed assets, to know the changes in working capital, to know the changes in the pattern of investments, to analyse the shareholder’s fund of the company and to give valuable suggestions based on the study. Analysis and Interpretation of the study has been done by making use of the tools like trend analysis for a period of five years from 2010-2011 to 2014-2015. The findings of the study are that the fixed assets of the company have increased regularly, working capital has decreased in the increase in the concluding year, and company’s profitability has had a higher increase in the concluding year. The suggestions of the study are that company should improve its liquidity position and it should save more towards reserves for any future uncertainty and should utilise brand name of the sector and expand market of the products. The study can be concluded by saying that the company should try and improve its overall liquidity position so as to meet any unforeseen requirements.
