Enterprise Integration and Event Orchestration System Using SAP CPI and event MESH
    (NHCE, 2026) SRUJAN D 1NH24MC130
This internship focused on understanding and working with modern enterprise integration practices and event-driven orchestration using cloud-based technologies on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The primary objective was to gain hands-on exposure to real-world middleware development, asynchronous messaging architectures, and cloudnative digital transformation in a professional consulting environment at Capgemini. The work centered around building an Enterprise Integration and Event Orchestration System for a global industry leader. The project involved designing and implementing a centralized integration layer that facilitates the seamless flow of business-critical data between on-premise SAP S/4HANA systems and various cloud-based applications. The core architecture utilized SAP Integration Suite (CPI) for complex data transformation and SAP Event Mesh to enable a decoupled, event-driven landscape, replacing legacy SAP PI/PO point-to-point connections with a modern, scalable messaging backbone.
