    (2020-09-22T09:13:14Z) PRAMOD, S; SATISH; SUNIL, KUMAR; VIRENDRAPATIL, G J
The main objective of this research is to investigate the possibility of utilizing waste steel slag in concrete production. in this project experimental investigation conducted on optimum steel slag replacement with fine aggregate. After the formation of by-product steel slag, In large amount from steel industries. This steel slag is disposed to open land area, it make land pollution and harmful to environment. It has good parameters and give enough durability to concrete and due to this it is suitable to bear heavy load. In further study fine aggregate is replaced by steel slag, and then concrete is prepared. Concrete mix prepared by varying the percentage of fine aggregate. Water cement ratio kept 0.36 concrete made with steel slag and fine aggregate replaced achieved better performance replace concrete are compared. On slump test was preformed to check durability of concrete and after then compressive strength and flexural strength was checked. Thus steel slag is appropriate substitute of fine aggregate in concrete mix for construction.
