Item Automated Parking System(2018-10-24T12:34:59Z) Sanjay, S; Samarth, Sharma; Priyanka, Pramod Wani; Akshaya, C RThis report talks about one in many alternative contrivances of parking a vehicle in any mall or parking alley other than the ancestral method which requires the person to park the car by himself and thus by consuming his time, this paper eliminates the need of doing so by allowing the car to be parked automatically in the empty slot and retrieving it automatically without any time or effort of an person. The vehicle to be parked is driven onto a robot by the concerned person and each vehicle has a unique RFID tag. The vehicle and its entry time is recognized by RFID reader placed at the entrance and stored in the database which will be crucial in retrieving the vehicle and cost estimation for the parked duration. Once the vehicle to be parked is placed on the robot and is identified by the RFID reader, a microcontroller containing the slot details of the parking slots with the help of infrared sensors placed at each slot assigns an empty slot to each car. The robot is made to run over the tracks by supplying power to the motors fixed in the robot and the movement of robot in the desired direction can be controlled by using servo motors. While retrieval of the vehicle the person is required to swipe the specific RFID, tags assigned to that vehicle, the information collected by the RFID reader is used to retrieve the concerned vehicle and the bill is generated based on its parking time. This process is not only limited for parking the vehicles but also can be used for storage and retrieving of items without any human effort and with minimum errors.Item Spatial and Median Filter for Noise Removal in Digital Images(2017-08-10T13:38:22Z) Amareshwar, Babu U; Anand, B V; Sanjay, SImage noise removal plays an important role in image processing as a pre-processing stage. Noise disturbances may be caused by the electronic imaging sensors, channel noise etc, hence noise removal is employed before image is further analysed. Impulse noise removal is a mechanism for detection and removal of impulse noise from an images. Median filter is one of the simplest and the most popular approach for noise removal. However simple median filter fails to restore the image at higher noise densities, hence adaptive median filter are used which works for low and high noise densities.
