    TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT USING SMART LANE DIVIDER SYSTEM

    Traffic Congestion has become one of the greatest problems that our country has had to face in the recent past. Number of vehicles on the road has grown exponentially in the past decade. The work we present here, is a traffic management system that looks to curb traffic congestion by providing additional lane space to a congested lane. This task of providing more lane space to a lane is achieved by replacing existing static lane dividers with a dynamic one capable of changing its position across the width of the road. The following chapters elaborates this concept in detail.
