Item Misrepresentation Versatile Device for offline Micro-payoffs (MDoMP)(2019-06-28T07:02:56Z) ABHINANDANA K SCredit and debit card data theft is one of the earliest forms of cybercrime. Still, it is one of the most common nowadays. Attackers often aim at stealing such customer data by targeting the Point of Sale (for short, PoS) system, i.e. the point at which a retailer first acquires customer data. Modern PoS systems are powerful computers equipped with a card reader and running specialized software. Increasingly often, user devices are leveraged as input to the PoS. In these scenarios, malware that can steal card data as soon as they are read by the device has flourished. As such, in cases where customer and vendor are persistently or intermittently disconnected from the network, no secure on-line payment is possible. This paper describes MDoMP, a secure off-line micro-payment solution that is resilient to PoS data breaches. Our solution improves over up to date approaches in terms of flexibility and security. To the best of our knowledge, MDoMP is the first solution that can provide secure fully off-line payments while being resilient to all currently known PoS breaches. In particular, we detail MDoMP architecture, components, and protocols. The enterprise management software is in house developed by Cerner and is called Olympus. Profiles are facilities that are provided to the clients in Cerner, they are seen in the configuration view of Olympus. Roles are the permissions and the access that is given to a client. Automation is necessary to make repetitive and difficult procedures more simpler. In this case the automation is done so that the onboarding of new clients in Cerner is done in a easier way. Previously this was done manually which time was consuming, since the development of this project this process has been made simpler. It parses the data from the pod directory json file to generate client list, pod configurations. These are then stored in a config which is made for each of the pods. These configs are stored in ocrs Jetstream repo. The details are then taken from this repo as the details cannot be hard coded into the code. The main reason behind the exchange of information is to provide physicians a detailed view of the patients past medical history. The Medical record form developed by us for past analysis is a standard to ensure information exchange, and propagation of this form format is critical for usage and exchange of information. Unfortunately, hospitals are hesitating to adopt interoperable Hospital Information System due to its deployment cost and maintenance of these medical history documents is difficult. In this we provide a better way for hospitals to generate the medical forms required for past analysis by using cloud computing. By using the services provided by cloud the hospital management system can easily upload diagnosed reports and access the patient’s past medical history. As a result of uploading several reports by different hospitals it takes a lot of time for physician to come to a decision and start treatment. This application helps the user when they are very new to city and they want to find out near by hospitals, doctors, pharmacy or any specialist doctors. So, that they can connect with them easily. This applications contains mainly four modules ,they are Hospital module, Doctor module, Pharmacy module and patient module. Each module has its own functionalities . Firstly, hospital module helps to hospital to manage their appointments with patients and doctors. They assign the particular patients to particular doctors based on the doctor’s availabilities , so that patient and doctors are not face any problems. Even hospitals people sent remainders to patient for their appointments so that they not forget or miss their appointments with doctors. And can generate the medical history of any patient and view the feedback of the hospital. Secondly, doctor module can accept or reject the patients appointments based on their availabilities, in this module doctor can give prescription to patient and send them to patients registered id, so that patient no need to directly visit hospital or doctor to get the prescription. Doctor can view medical history of the patients and can view medical history Thirdly, patient can search an hospital or doctor and book appointment with doctor, patient can set and remainder for particular appointments . they can give feedback to hospital, doctor and pharmacy. Lastly, pharmacy module which helps users to get their medication just by sending their prescription to particular pharmacy.Item WEB IMAGE RE-RANKING USING QUERY-SPECIFIC SEMANTIC SIGNATURES(2019-06-28T07:48:41Z) AMRUTHA SURESH K MWeb-scale image search engines mostly use keywords as queries and rely on surrounding text to search images. It is well known that they suffer from the ambiguity of query keywords. For example, using “apple” as query, the retrieved images belong to different categories, such as “red apple”, “apple logo”, and “apple laptop”. Online image reranking has been shown to be an effective way to improve the image search results. Major internet image search engines have since adopted the re-ranking strategy. Its diagram is shown in Figure 1. Given a query keyword input by a user, according to a stored word-image index file, a pool of images relevant to the query keyword are retrieved by the search engine. By asking a user to select a query image, which reflects the user’s search intention, from the pool, the remaining images in the pool are re-ranked based on their visual similarities with the query image. The visual features of images are pre-computed offline and stored by the search engine. The main online computational cost of image re-ranking is on comparing visual features. In order to achieve high efficiency, the visual feature vectors need to be short and their matching needs to be fast. Another major challenge is that the similarities of low-level visual features may not well correlate with images’ high-level semantic meanings which interpret users’ search intention. To narrow down this semantic gap, for offline image recognition and retrieval, there have been a number of studies to map visual features to a set of predefined concepts or attributes as semantic signature. However, these approaches are only applicable to closed image sets of relatively small sizes. They are not suitable for online web- based image re-ranking. According to our empirical study, images retrieved by 120 query keywords alone include more than 1500 concepts. Therefore, it is difficult and inefficient to design a huge concept dictionary to characterize highly diverse web images.Item SPOTTING THE VERSATILE MISCHIEVOUS SITES(2019-06-28T07:50:57Z) AMRUTHA VARSHINI PMobile specific web pages differ significantly from their desktop counterparts in content, layout and functionality. Accordingly, existing techniques to detect malicious websites are unlikely to work for such web pages. In this paper, we design and implement KAYO, a mechanism that distinguishes between malicious and benign mobile web pages. KAYO makes this determination based on static features of a webpage ranging from the number of iframes to the presence of known fraudulent phone numbers. First, we experimentally demonstrate the need for mobile specific techniques and then identify a range of new static features that highly correlate with mobile malicious web pages. We then apply KAYO to a dataset of over 350,000 known benign and malicious mobile web pages and demonstrate 90% accuracy in classification. Moreover, we discover, characterize and report a number of web pages missed by Google Safe Browsing and Virus Total, but detected by KAYO. Finally, we build a browser extension using KAYO to protect users from malicious mobile websites in real-time. so, we provide the first static analysis technique to detect malicious mobile web pages.Item Vector Image Creator Algorithm used For Object Tracking(2019-06-28T07:53:25Z) ANU KUMARIThe project is an application that is created to track vehicles with the help of vector algebra technology. The idea of vector algebra is used to convert the scanned copy to document file, extract the letters from the image and also used for searching the letters from the image. Unlike a word document, it becomes very difficult to find words in an image format. The Vector Algebra (VA) will measure the angle position of the letter, the pixel size used in the letter which generates the English alphabets.Item EFFICIENT AND RESPONSIBLE RESTORATION METHOD FOR VIRTUAL RESOURCES(2019-06-28T07:54:54Z) ANUSHA K.VWe propose a Efficient And Responsible Restoration Method For Virtual Resources on OpenStack, when physical servers or virtual machines are down. Many providers have recently started cloud services, and the use of OpenStack, which is open source IaaS software, is increasing. When physical servers are down, there is a fail-over method using the high-availability cluster software such as Pacemaker to restore virtual resources. However, it takes a long time to restore all virtual resources. There is also a method for monitoring each virtual machine by using Ping or other methods and restoring a virtual machine when it is down. However, data may be destroyed due to the double mounts of virtual machines depending on the timing of failures because restoration methods of failed physical servers and virtual machines are independent. Therefore, we propose a fast and reliable restoration method with a uniform way for plural types virtual resources. In our method, Pacemaker only detects a physical server failure and notifies a failure to a virtual resource arrangement scheduler, then a virtual resource arrangement scheduler determines multiple physical servers to restore virtual resources and calls OpenStack APIs to rebuild. The virtual resource arrangement scheduler also detects virtual machine failures by using a Libvirt monitoring module and restores virtual machines without data loss by handling Pacemaker and Libvirt notifications uniformly. We implemented the proposed method and showed its effectiveness regarding fast restoration through performance measurements.Item TRANSACT BUSINESS AUTHENTICATION(2019-06-28T07:56:41Z) ARUNKUMAR NTransact Business Authentication is an emerging type of cloud service that offers configurable and executable business processes to clients over the Internet. As Transaction service is still in early years of research, many open issues remain. Managing the configuration of Transaction service builds on areas such as software product lines and configurable business processes. The problem has concerns to consider from several perspectives, such as the different types of variable features, constraints between configuration options, and satisfying the requirements provided by the client. In our approach, we use temporal logic templates to elicit transactional requirements from clients that the configured service must adhere to. For formalizing constraints over configuration, feature models are used. To manage all these concerns during transact service configuration, we develop a structured process that applies formal methods while directing clients through specifying transactional requirements and selecting configurable features. The Binary Decision Diagram (BDD) analysis is then used to verify that the selected configurable features do not violate any constraints. Finally, model checking is applied to verify the configured service against the transactional requirement set.
