Item Power Efficient Image Encryption for Low end Devices(2018-06-19T05:57:59Z) CHANDER, S P; SAI, SHANKARIn past years, many encryption techniques have been proposed to protect data from unauthorized access. It is not suitable to use the existing encryption algorithms for image encryption that are given out for the textual data. The encryption schemes used for images are computationally expensive and power consuming, hence these are not suitable for low end devices. In this project, an image encryption scheme is proposed which includes pixels shuffling in rows and columns using two key vectors and then mathematical Zeta- Riemann function is used to scramble the image. The proposed cipher is a hybrid system based on Rubik’s cube principle and pixel shuffling, resulting in a fast, accurate and energy efficient image encryption which is one of the key requirements of low computing devices especially mobile phones.
