    A Project Report on Surf and Plan

    Surf N Plan project aims to build an interface that will facilitate the interaction between the event planner and the customer in organizing events such as marriages, birthdays, corporate events etc. The customer can use the system to plan the event based on their budget range by choosing the venue, decorations, themes etc; from the wide variety of option they are provided with. Customers can also contact the planners for further details on the event. The event organizers can register into the system and can update their event by changing their requirements such as canceling the event, changing the venue, changing the theme etc; according to the changing requirements before the event day by contacting the admin of the system. Surf N Plan enables the user to know the cost of organizing the event based on their venue, theme and decoration cost even before registering as a customer in the web site in order to confirm the event. It also enables the user to communicate with the planner to solve their queries. Event planners are provided with notifications about the upcoming events that have been booked by the organizers of the event. The event planners can also update the website with new venues. The system also takes queries from the registered user of the system. The admin can view, delete and update planners and venues registered into the system. The admin can also view, delete and update events booked in the system as per customers changing requirements and can assign the event to the planner as per his choice.
