A study on Loans and Advances of Guardian Souharda Sahakari Bank Niyamita

The present analysis is a study on “Loans and Advances of Guardian SouhardaSahakari Bank Niyamita”. Money provided by the bank to entities for fulfilling their short term requirements is known as Advances. Loan is a kind of debt while Advances are credit facility granted by banks. Loans can be secured or unsecured whereas Advances are generally secured by asset or by guarantee from a surety. The study attempts to bring up the idea of security accommodated advances, differentiates borrowing rates from lending money, recognizes long term and short term loans, etc. The methodology adopted is primary data and secondary data. Primary sources of data are those sources in which data are collected through original investigation. Secondary data are those sources in which the data already collected and published are assembled which is done through bank brochures, bank records, annual reports and information from the internet. The literature review of Fulbag Singh and Balwinder Singh, Mavaluri, Boppana and Nagarjuna, etc studied the money management in cooperative banks, connection between non performing credits and bank disappointment and contended for a successful bank and much more.
