    VIRTUAL ASSISTANT USING RASPBERRY PI

    Digital experiences which are being enabled by virtual assistants such as Siri, Alexa, etc. are considered as one of the major technological advances in the recent times. These advances are giving us a new dimension to look at artificial intelligence.The capability and usage of virtual assistants are expanding rapidly, with new products entering the market. This project is aimed at providing a voice based interactive assistance and hence this project is designed to replicate the already existing smart speakers by Amazon (Amazon Echo and Amazon Echo Dot) on a Raspberry pi board, using the resources provided by Amazon Web Services. The assistant provided here is called ‘Alexa’ and the device wakes up to the same name. Here, a strong emphasis is made on voice user interface.
