    A project report on “USER-DEFINED PRIVACY GRID SYSTEM”

    Tomorrow’s cars will comprise many wireless communication systems and mobility aware applications. Music, news, road conditions, weather reports, and other broadcast information are received via digital audio broadcasting (DAB) with 1.5 M-bits/s. For personal communication, a global system for mobile communications (GSM) phone might be available offering voice and data connectivity with 384 k-bits/s. For remote areas satellite communication can be used, while the current position of the car is determined via global positioning system (GPS). Additionally, cars driving in the same area build a local ad-hoc network for fast information exchange in emergency situations or to help each other keeping a safe distance. In case of an accident, not only will the airbag be triggered, but also an emergency call to a service provider informing ambulance and police. Cars with this technology are already available. Future cars will also inform other cars about accidents via the ad hoc network to help them slow down in time, even before a driver can recognize the accident. Buses, trucks, and train are already transmitting maintenance and logistic information to their home base, which helps o improve organization (fleet management), and thus save time and money.

    A Project Report on “DUAL-SERVER PUBLIC-KEY ENCRYPTION”

    Searchable encryption is of increasing interest for protecting the data privacy in secure searchable cloud storage. In this paper, we investigate the security of a well-known cryptographic primitive, namely, public key encryption with keyword search (PEKS) which is very useful in many applications of cloud storage. Unfortunately, it has been shown that the traditional PEKS framework suffers from an inherent insecurity called inside keyword guessing attack (KGA) launched by the malicious server. To address this security vulnerability, we propose a new PEKS framework named dual-server PEKS (DS-PEKS). As another main contribution, we define a new variant of the smooth projective hash functions (SPHFs) referred to as linear and homomorphic SPHF (LH-SPHF). We then show a generic construction of secure DS-PEKS from LH-SPHF. To illustrate the feasibility of our new framework, we provide an efficient instantiation of the general framework from a Decision Diffie–Hellman based LH-SPHF and show that it can achieve the strong security against inside the KGA. 1.2 PROBLEM STATEMENT The current project works only on one file for sharing at a time. The cost and maintenance is high due to two servers being used here.

The main purpose of “Travel Cruise” is to provide a convenient way for a customer to book hotels, flight, train and bus for tour purposes. The objective of this project is to develop a system that automates the processes and activities of a travel agency. In this project, we will make an easy task of searching places and for booking train, flight or bus.     AS we step into the big data era, terabyte of data are produced world-wide per day. Enterprises and users who own a large amount of data usually choose to outsource their precious data to cloud facility in order to reduce data management cost and storage facility spending. As a result, data volume in cloud storage facilities is experiencing a dramatic increase. Although cloud server providers (CSPs) claim that their cloud service is armed with strong security measures, security and privacy are major obstacles preventing the wider acceptance of cloud computing service. A traditional way to reduce information leakage is data encryption. However, this will make server-side data utilization, such as searching on encrypted data, become a very challenging task. In the recent years, researchers have proposed many ciphertext search schemes [35- 38][43] by incorporating the cryptography techniques. These methods have been proven with provable security, but their methods need massive operations and have high time complexity. Therefore, former methods are not suitable for the big data scenario where data volume is very big and applications require online data processing. In addition, the relationship between documents is concealed in them above methods. The relationship between documents represents the properties of the documents and hence maintaining the relationship is vital to fully express a document. For example, the relationship can be used to express its category. If a document is independent of any other documents except those documents that are related to sports, then it is easy for us to assert this document belongs to the category of the sports. In this paper, a vector space model is used and every document is represented by a vector, which means every document can be seen as a point in a high dimensional space. Due to the relationship between different documents, all the documents can be divided into several categories. In other words, the points whose distance are short in the high dimensional Space can be classified into a specific category. The search time can be largely reduced by selecting the desired category and abandoning the irrelevant categories. Comparing with all the documents in the dataset, the number of documents which user aims at is very small. Due to the small number of the desired documents, a specific category can be further divided into several sub-categories. Instead of using the traditional sequence search method, a backtracking algorithm is produced to search the target documents

    A Project Report on A ROBUST REPUTATION MANAGEMENT IN FEDERATED CLOUD

    In the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) paradigm of cloud computing, computational resources are available for rent. Although it offers a cost efficient solution to virtual network requirements, low trust on the rented computational resources prevents users from using it. To reduce the cost, computational resources are shared, i.e., there exists multi-tenancy. As the communication channels and other computational resources are shared, it creates security and privacy issues. A user may not identify a trustworthy co-tenant as the users are anonymous. The user depends on the Cloud Provider (CP) to assign trustworthy co-tenants. But, it is in the CP’s interest that it gets maximum utilization of its resources. Hence, it allows maximum co-tenancy irrespective of the behaviours of users. In this paper, we propose a robust reputation management mechanism that encourages the CPs in a federated cloud to differentiate between good and malicious users and assign resources in such a way that they do not share resources. We show the correctness and the efficiency of the proposed reputation management system using analytical and experimental analysis.

    A Project Report on SECURE DATA SHARING IN CLOUD COMPUTING

    Cloud computing provides a flexible and convenient way for data sharing, which brings various benefits for both the society and individuals. But there exists a natural resistance for users to directly outsource the shared data to the cloud server since the data often contain valuable information. Thus, it is necessary to place cryptographically enhanced access control on the shared data. Identity-based encryption is a promising cryptographical primitive to build a practical data sharing system. However, access control is not static. That is, when some user’s authorization is expired, there should be a mechanism that can remove him/her from the system. Consequently, the revoked user cannot access both the previously and subsequently shared data. To this end, we propose a notion called revocable-storage identity-based encryption (RS-IBE), which can provide the forward/backward security of ciphertext by introducing the functionalities of user revocation and ciphertext update simultaneously. Furthermore, we present a concrete construction of RS-IBE, and prove its security in the defined security model. The performance comparisons indicate that the proposed RS-IBE scheme has advantages in terms of functionality and efficiency, and thus is feasible for a practical and cost-effective data-sharing system. Finally, we provide implementation results of the proposed scheme to demonstrate its practicability.

The emergence of computer network and telecommunication technologies bears the same objective that is to allow people to communicate. All this while, much efforts has been drawn towards consolidating the device into one and therefore indiscriminate the services. Chatting is a method of using technology to bring people and ideas together despite of the barriers. The technology has been available for years but the acceptance it was quit recent. This project is an example of a chat server. It is made up of applications the client application which runs on system and the server application which runs on any pc on the network. To start chatting client should get connected to server where they can do group and private chatting.

    A project report on “ENABLING CLOUD STORAGE AUDITING”

    Key-exposure resistance has always been an important issue for in-depth cyber defence in many security applications. Recently, how to deal with the key exposure problem in the settings of cloud storage auditing has been proposed and studied. To address the challenge, existing solutions all require the client to update his secret keys in every time period, which may inevitably bring in new local burdens to the client, especially those with limited computation resources, such as mobile phones. In this paper, we focus on how to make the key updates as transparent as possible for the client and propose a new paradigm called cloud storage auditing with verifiable outsourcing of key updates. In this paradigm, key updates can be safely outsourced to some authorized party, and thus the key-update burden on the client will be kept minimal. In particular, we leverage the third party auditor (TPA) in many existing public auditing designs, let it play the role of authorized party in our case, and make it in charge of both the storage auditing and the secure key updates for key-exposure resistance. In our design, TPA only needs to hold an encrypted version of the client’s secret key while doing all these burdensome tasks on behalf of the client. The client only needs to download the encrypted secret key from the TPA when uploading new files to cloud. Besides, our design also equips the client with capability to further verify the validity of the encrypted secret keys provided by the TPA. All these salient features are carefully designed to make the whole auditing procedure with key exposure resistance as transparent as possible for the client. We formalize the definition and the security model of this paradigm. The security proof and the performance simulation show that our detailed design instantiations are secure and efficient.

The purpose of the software project is to develop the Management Information System (MIS) to automate the record keeping of Publishers, Books, Members and Book issue and receive transactions with a view to enhance the decision making of the functionaries. A MIS mainly consists of a computerized database, a collection of inter-related tables for a particular subject or purpose, capable to produce different reports relevant to the user. An application program is tied with the database for easy access and interface to the database. Using Application program or front-end, we can store, retrieve and manage all information in proper way. This software, being simple in design and working, does not require much of training to users, and can be used as a powerful tool for automating a Public Library System. During coding and design of the software Project, HTML, CSS, PHP, a powerful front-end tool is used for getting Graphical User Interface (GUI) based integrated platform and coding simplicity. As a back-end a powerful, open source RDBMS, My SQL is used as per requirement of the CBSE curriculum of Informatics Practices Course. 1.2 PROBLEM STATEMENT Existing system maintains a record to store all the books. It is very difficult to maintain historical data. Some of the topics are skipped while uploading the contents of the book into the website. The content of the uploaded book may differ from institution to institution.

According to existing research works, long-term stress has been found to be related to many diseases, e.g., clinical depressions, insomnia etc.. Moreover, according to Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, suicide has become the top cause of death among Chinese youth, and excessive stress is considered to be a major factor of suicide.
