Abstract
The development of new energy sources has become particularly important from the perspective of energy security and environmental protection. Therefore the utilization of wastes resources such as green wastes in energy production is expected. The bio-oil from biomass has been witnessed a booming interest in recent years, due to the increased cost of fuel and the need to produce alternative fuels. The aim of the present study is to obtain bio-oil , bio-char from green waste and to design a pyrolysis setup by using modern experimental approach. The production of bio-oil from green waste through the pyrolysis process has attracted considerable attention recently in the renewable energy sector because it can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to energy security. The bio-oil produced from pyrolysis as it gives products a better quality compared to other thermo-chemical conversion process. Pyrolysis also helps to increase the yield of bio-oil and bio-char. This model provides a framework to better understand the major factors affecting greenhouse gas emission related to bio-oil production. Hence the pyrolysis setup has been designed (by the models in literature) and examined the various working factors such as the bio-oil production and the chemical composition.
