| dc.description.abstract | The objective of the project Online Gas Booking System is to manage the details of gas, connections, customers, bookings and payments. It provides the user-friendly in all possible ways. It minimizes the work and at the same time increases the speed of the work done. The front end of the project is PHP4.0and the bank end is MS SQL Server 5.7. The operating system used to develop the project is Windows 10. In the existing system, mainly uses IVR system or by sending message, both can be done only through registered mobile number. There will be some inconvenience. Instead of these the LPG Booking System consumer can book the gas and also register complaints or queries from anywhere and through any device, using the valid username and password. In the proposed system is to develop a system of improved facilities. It overcomes all the limitations of the existing system. The system provides proper security and reduces the manual work. The project consists of seven modules. The administrator module can manage the activities on the website. Administrator can log in through the login page. The consumer module helps to login using the id and password and can update the details .The dashboard module, the administrator can view all detail in brief like the total new connection, total new connection, total on-hold connection, total approved connection, total rejected connection, total new booking, total confirmed booking, total canceled booking, total assign booking, total delivered LPG, total staff and total registered users. The new connection module, consumer sends the request for LPG connection to the organization. The booking cylinder module when the organization provides a connection number then the consumer can book the cylinder .The delivery staff module, it allows the privilege to the administrator to manage the details of the staff. The search module, the consumer can search gas booking records by entering the booking number. The consumer can also update the profile, change the password and recover the password | |
