Abstract
This internship report presents the learning experience and practical exposure gained during
the internship on “End-to-End Supply Chain Process Implementation in SAP S/4HANA Using SAP
Fiori Applications.” The internship was carried out in the field of Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP) with a focus on SAP S/4HANA, one of the most advanced ERP solutions used by
organizations worldwide. The main objective of the internship was to understand how modern
businesses integrate and manage their operations through ERP systems and to gain hands-on
knowledge of supply chain business processes.
During the internship, detailed knowledge was gained regarding the core SAP modules such as
Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP). The
internship provided practical understanding of important business cycles including Procure-to-
Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and production planning processes. Different activities such as
creating purchase requisitions, purchase orders, sales orders, invoice verification, goods receipt
processing, and billing operations were studied to understand real-time business workflow
integration within SAP S/4HANA.
The internship also provided exposure to SAP Fiori applications, which offer a modern, userfriendly,
and role-based interface for accessing SAP systems. Through SAP Fiori, business
transactions and reporting activities became easier to understand and execute. The internship
additionally introduced concepts related to SAP HANA database architecture, real-time
analytics, master data management, transactional data processing, system testing,
documentation, and ERP implementation methodologies.
Apart from technical knowledge, the internship helped in developing important professional
skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, time management, adaptability, and
analytical thinking. Working in a professional environment improved understanding of
organizational workflows and the importance of integrated business systems in improving
operational efficiency and decision-making.
