dc.description.abstractThere are many circumstances that can lead to electrical accidents. It is subsidiary to identify and document kenned hazardous conditions that will be engendered in electrical facilities and equipment. Conditions that can be reproduced in a laboratory, intended to duplicate genuine-life conditions, can be acclimated to enhance cognizance of the possible hazards and they can withal facilitate manufacturers to develop safer and more fire-resistant electrical systems. The desideratum for electrical energy is sizably voluminous due to advancements in technology, which are mainly electrically driven. This advancement has equipollently established high electrical accidents, due to unsafe working conditions and practices followed at work. Hence, the desideratum to truncate the accidents at workplaces becomes a desideratum in order to increment productivity and make the environment safe for household dwellers and workers. Isolated extension supply is a contrivance used to isolate a domestic AC distribution supply system from the ground connection. The objective of this contrivance is to increment electrical safety especially for the users of the pieces of equipment. An endeavor has been made in this thesis to propose a simple isolated extension supply which averts electrical accidents to the users and the types of equipment.
