Abstract
Conventional cooling or heating systems often consume significant amounts of energy as they rely on convective heat transfer. In contrast, Thermally Activated Building Systems (TABS) operate on radiative cooling principles. TABS leverage the thermal mass of the building to provide thermal comfort for occupants, all while achieving energy savings. By utilizing the building's structure for
heat exchange, TABS optimize the efficiency of radiant cooling, offering a more energy-efficient alternative compared to traditional convective systems.
