In order to get an understanding on the same, IonIdea Interactive Private Limited, a leading Business Process Outsourcing and Recruitment Process Outsourcing company was chosen. The company has employees working in three different shifts and caters to various needs of their clients. Working in this outsourcing division of IonIdea Bangalore, gave me a broad picture of the actual functioning of a BPO and how employees are motivated to work in various shifts. The entire project showcases the various employee engagement practices being followed at IonIdea Interactive Pvt. Ltd. and how employee performance can be influenced with the same. The project also takes into consideration the fact that employee engagement is an evolving activity and how employee satisfaction as a theory is fading away, especially in the Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) Industry.
