Abstract
In these changing times, we have rarely seen any change in the functionality of a motorcycle showroom. Any necessary information about the bike, booking or customization of parts have to be done manually and time consuming process demands physical presence of the customer. Hence, it may take more than one visit to complete the activities.
We are trying to incorporate the functionality of a showroom into a Smartphone application. Using out application, a customer will be able to login to an account and keep track of his/her activities. A customer is able to purchase a motorcycle or its accessories, check for availability, and also keep track of log history.
The application provides for login and loginpin pages for password encryption using simple message digest concept. It contains a home page to select from standard order or custom purchase. The display page leads to a cart page for giving the summary of order details for the user.
Finally a dashboard is available for the administrator for adding, deleting and editing any motorcycle images or details from the stock page.
We have used android technology to develop our project. The android market is booming and we hope to provide efficient service to the users of android through our application.
