| dc.description.abstract | Regular concrete blocks are one of the most important building materials in the India. In recent years, with expanding urbanization and increasing demand for construction materials, Regular concrete blocks have grown to meet the demand. Various types of blocks can be used as an alternative to the Regular concrete blocks, to reduce Environmental pollution and Global warming. Light weight concrete blocks may be one of the solutions for replacement. Light weight concrete blocks can be used for commercial, industrial and residential construction. Light weight blocks has light weight, high strength, good durability, heat preservation, sound insulation, fire proofing, impervious, good anchoring properties. This project highlights different aspects of using Regular concrete blocks and Light weight concrete blocks for construction. Findings of comparative statistical analysis of cost effectiveness of using Light weight concrete blocks instead of Regular concrete blocks are presented in this project. | en_US |
