| dc.description.abstract | The interest on computing by emotional aspects is now a days increasing as many applications are in demand. The project Emotion recognition basically refers to computer systems that attempt automatically to recognise the facial expression from visual features. For human-computer interaction, facial expressions form a platform for non- verbal communication. As we all know, humans are very capable of detecting emotions based on facial expressions, but the same cannot be said for machines. A significant amount of processing is required in order to account for various features, such as colour, orientation, posture and so on. Our aim is to make a system which is capable of accounting for the mentioned variability, and accurately detects facial expressions by using concepts of machine learning. We’ve implemented our idea on a laptop by using a Haar Cascade Classifier, Tensorflow and OpenCv. The idea behind this implementation was to make the software more portable as possible. | en_US |
