Abstract
Modified Booth Multiplier is one of the different techniques for multiplication. It is used normally as the fastest multiplier. Conventional booth Multiplier is another technique for multiplication. It is not widely used because of its complexity of its structure.
The design of 8 bit Modified Booth multiplier and conventional booth multiplier has done. The comparative analysis of all the design for the delay, power and cell area has done using Cadence 180nm RTL complier to show that modified booth multiplier can become more faster than the conventional Booth Multiplier.
The main objective is to design a modified Booth multiplier for lossy applications and evaluate its performance by studying different parameters like accuracy, delay & Power.
