Abstract
This project is to design and develop a "Robotic Arm for Pick and Placeā€ application for HIV testing using AURDINO-UNO microcontroller. This project combines the knowledge of mechanical and electronic. The objective of this project is to design and build a more compact, usable, reprogrammable and variable controlled pick and place robotic arm for medical purpose. The designing of the arm and the linkages comprises mechanical knowledge and the electronics is used to give motion and control the motion of robotic arm. It uses Aurdino-Uno microcontroller from Microchip Technology as the control system to control all the activities. The robotic arm is designed to perform operations in medical laboratories in closed and vacuum environments where human beings not able to work . The robot has five degrees of freedom which makes the robotic motions more accurate and precise.
