| dc.description.abstract | It is well known that India is grossly underinsured. Life insurance penetration, measured as a percentage of premiums to a country's gross domestic product, was just 3.1 per cent in 2013/14, compared to 11.7 per cent in Hong Kong and 8.8 per cent in the UK. This perennial problem, however, can cost us dear unless we, the common investor, understand the difference between insurance and investing and, more importantly, know the real benefits of the different types of insurance plans available in the market.The first step, however, is to understand that insurance is not an investment tool that could help save income tax, but is imperative to cover you from risks. And, managing risks is all about addressing our life goals, and ensuring everything goes as planned for the rest of the family even if the earning member dies suddenly. DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance offer customers life insurance solutions designed to take care of their various financial protection needs such as securing their child’s future, funding for retirement, savings and wealth creation. They don’t just offer these solutions but also guide and enable them to make informed insurance decisions to meet their life’s short term and long term financial goals.So I took “RATIO ANALYSIS” as topic for my project in “DHFL PRAMERICA LIFE INSUARANCE CO. LTD.” Financial statements provide summarized view of the financial position and operation of the company. Therefore, now a day it is necessary to all companies to know as well as to show the financial soundness i.e. position and operation of company to their stakeholders. It is also necessary to company to know their financial position and operation of the company. In this report I made an effort to know the financial position of DHFL Pramerica co. Ltd by using the Annual Reports of the firm and what are the hardcore efforts put by the firm to raise economic conditions of a country. The Financial analysis of this report will show the overall Strength and weakness of the DHFL Pramerica co.
