Abstract
Sourcing is also a sub-set of recruitment, which is proactively searching for the most talented candidates for a particular role. Sourcing and screening of candidates is crucial factor in any organization for placing the right candidate, for right job. The study was conducted in CareerNet Technologies, Bengaluru, to find the effectiveness of passive sourcing strategies. CareerNet was established in the year 1999, it is the leading provider of Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Process Outsourcing solutions to the Technology, Knowledge Services, Banking and Financial Services sectors in India. The leadership team has several decades of collective experience working for global services and consulting firms. The project was oriented towards finding out the effectiveness of passive sourcing strategies candidates and also its effects both on employees and Management, by going through interaction with the employees of Rivera. This exercise has helped in the better understanding with the sourcing and screening policy of Rivera, and also to the employees ‘way of sourcing and screening process that effects the organization and its day to day work.
