Abstract
The project entitled HIPPO HR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is a company
process application designed the use of Hippocampus Infotech Pvt. Ltd. This project
is developed as a web-based application so that it can be utilized and maintain for the
use of HR department at Hippo Campus Pvt. Ltd. It provides the simplicity for
solving and organizing different works in the Organization. This application was
developed with a 3-tier approach, with a backend database maintain with the help of
MySQL , a middle tier with ASP.NET, and a front end web browser (client). The
main integral part of the system includes the like of attendance management, payroll
management, and leave management and many other task and modules.
In our company all of the attendance are taken and provided at the front of the
office where all the employee are requested to maintain their details at the register,
this may cause many disadvantages and wastage of time is the main problem. So with
the help of the attendance system we can easily maintain the attendance of the
employee with a biometric system, leave will also be automatically calculated and
maintained.
With the help of this application job recruitment can also be established where
an applicant can see the job posing and applied for that job posting, our company has
undergo recruitment for different company in every field so this is the important
points in this project. The applicant can provide their resume and personal details
where they are provided with the specific pages. Interview will be taken held with
different rounds with different professionals, so there will be a place where the
interviewer have input the evaluation based on the interview they conducted. Every
detail will be recorded and maintained in the system.
Leave management is also one important task in this project. Employee are
provided with a limited access to the pages where he or she can provide a leave
application to the HR Department, they can write their leave from home and
submitted to the Admin. All of the leave will be calculated and maintained at the end
of the month so that their salary is properly calculated.
Since this project is developed based on 3-Tier Architecture it is far
complicated and hard to implements all the coding, but it has the main advantages
where it is capable of reusability.
