dc.description.abstractAutomobiles and technologies are creating a new level of the data services in vehicles. The Cockpit Voice Recorder box has functions which is similar to an airplane black box. It is used to analyse the cause of accidents. This project proposes a model of a Car black box system that can be installed into the cars. The aim of the project is to achieve accident analysis by objectively tracking what occurs in the vehicles. In addition to this, the Cockpit Voice Recorder system sends an alert message to the user mobile that is connected through Bluetooth module, in case of occurrence of an accident. The black box system also uses GPS sensor to collect location data. The car black box system mainly helps the insurance companies with their car crash investigations and also records the road status in order to prevent or decrease death rates. In this project we will be continuously monitoring the vehicle performance using sensors and the behaviour of the driver with the use of IoT technology
