Abstract
RapidRide is an environmentally friendly ride-hailing web service that uses QR codes to expedite urban transit by utilizing exclusively electric vehicles (EVs), such as taxis, cars, and electric cycles. By scanning a QR code and making a transportation reservation via a fully responsive website, users of RapidRide can quickly utilize the service, in contrast to traditional platforms that depend on mobile apps and fossil fuels. The MERN stack MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js is used by the system to provide secure authentication, real-time ride matching, and an intuitive user experience. In addition to guaranteeing accessibility on all platforms without requiring app downloads, it encourages sustainable mobility. RapidRide wants to lower carbon emissions, increase commuter efficiency, and assist the growing trend toward sustainable energy transportation by offering features like live location tracking, fare calculation, and driver availability management. This idea offers a contemporary, scalable solution designed for eco-aware commuters and smart cities.
