Abstract
The automatic height-adjusting bridge represents a significant advancement in engineering design. Commonly referred to as movable bridges or drawbridges, these structures employ sophisticated mechanisms to modulate their elevation. Typically, the operation of such bridges involves a combination of hydraulic jacks and, in certain instances, electronic systems that facilitate this height adjustment. The incorporation of these innovative bridges has transformed flood management techniques. During flood events, these structures possess the capability to modify their height dynamically, thereby mitigating damage and ensuring the continuous operation of transportation networks. Through the utilization of real-time data analysis, these bridges can elevate in response to rising water levels, thereby enhancing safety and resilience in flood-prone regions.
