Abstract
The term Software can be defined as the list of commands or instructions or programs directing a computer system to do a specific task. Software enables its user have an interaction with the machine, it’s hardware, and to perform tasks. The generic term Software describes the programs installed or to be installed in a computer, laptop, mobile phone.
Applications, apps, scripts, programs can be used as an alternative to describe the term Software.
The following is a listing of the various software a computer can install with its related examples:
• Antivirus - McAfee, Norton
• Database - SQL, MySQL
• Operating System - Windows, Linux, Android
• Internet Browser - Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer Installing a software (computer program), is the act of making the program ready for execution on the system. Every process varies for every single program and computer. Installation may be a part of a huge software installation process.
