Abstract
Grass cutting and lawn maintenance are common activities required in residential areas, public parks, educational institutions, and agricultural fields. Conventional grass cutting methods mainly depend on manual labor or fuel-powered machines, which are often noisy, expensive to operate, and harmful to the environment due to fuel consumption and emissions. With increasing concern toward energy conservation and environmental protection, there is a growing need for eco-friendly and cost-effective alternatives.
This project focuses on the design and development of a solar powered automated grass cutting machine that reduces human effort and minimizes environmental impact. The machine utilizes solar energy as a renewable power source to support its operation, thereby reducing dependency on conventional electricity and fossil fuels. An electric motor-driven cutting mechanism is used to perform grass cutting efficiently while maintaining low noise levels.
