Abstract
This project involves Account Provisioning in Banner Document Management using BEIS (Banner Enterprise Identity Service) with SAML2 service. SAML2 is a form of mark-up language, which is used for authenticating a user. AX is application xtender, which is a product of Dell-EMC. It is used for managing the enterprise documents in a secure way. AX 8.1 lacks the import user’s function which was previously available in AX 7 versions and earlier. By implementing user provisioning using SAML2 service we can create users in AX which then would be BDM users. BDM is Banner Document Management, which is used to store and process all the documents for Banner. Banner is a Student management system, which is used by many higher education systems. This would involve generating a new set of libraries to work with AX 8.1 Service Pack 1 using Visual Studio 2015 with c#.NET coding. This product has a significant impact on the users of Banner. This would help in significantly allowing users to provision accounts using the newly developed "BDM Account provisioning" with AX 8.1 SP1 in a Banner environment. A huge step considering the "Import users" feature missing from AX 8.1 SP1.
