The “AI Virtual Gesture Mouse Using Hand Gestures and Voice Control” project is developed to provide a touch-free method of controlling a computer system using Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision technologies. The main objective of this project is to replace the traditional physical mouse with hand gestures and voice commands, making human-computer interaction smarter, easier, and more interactive. The system uses a webcam to capture the user’s hand movements in real time and identifies finger positions using AI-based hand tracking techniques. The project is implemented using Python programming language along with libraries such as OpenCV, MediaPipe, PyAutoGUI, Speech Recognition, and pyttsx3. OpenCV is used for video capturing and image processing, while MediaPipe is used for accurate hand landmark detection and gesture recognition. PyAutoGUI is used to perform mouse operations such as cursor movement, left click, right click, scrolling, and drag & drop based on the detected gestures. The voice assistant module allows users to execute commands like opening applications, taking screenshots, and controlling system volume using voice input. This project provides a real-time, user-friendly, and efficient interface for controlling computer operations without physical contact. It demonstrates the practical implementation of Artificial Intelligence, gesture recognition, and automation technologies in modern computing systems. The system can be used in smart applications, presentations, gaming, touchless systems, and accessibility-based applications. Future enhancements can include advanced gesture support, virtual keyboard integration, multi-hand detection, and improved gesture recognition accuracy.
