| dc.description.abstract | Street light control system which operates automatically is not only easiest but also the intelligent system. This system can be set to operate in automatic mode, which regulates the street light according to brightness and dimness algorithm and light intensity. The street lights turn on automatically during night and turn off during day. When vehicles pass by the sensors, the light will turn on automatically with maximum intensity. This design can safe a great amount of electricity compared to street lamps that keep alight during nights. Furthermore, this system has auto-message function which will off if any light is damaged and will show the address of the damaged light, thus it is easy to be found and repair the damaged light. The goal of the present study is to save energy in street lightening and traffic system. In the existing system, power consumption takes place due to continuous lightening throughout the night by street lights. Hence an idea is implemented in such a way that the lights will be switching on with minimum intensity and will glow with maximum intensity only in the presence of traffic on the roads at night times. Therefore, maximum power will be saved and the saved power can be used for some other useful purposes like agriculture, industries and domestic purposes. In present days, we are facing the traffic problem in the urban areas. It is essential to control the traffic density in an efficient manner in such a way that it can control according to the priority of the more traffic density present in the street by using sensor network. | en_US |
