We are developing an environmental friendly method for implementing an air conditioning or refrigeration system in order to replace the conventional use of Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC). The electrical energy input needed to power the cooler is supplied from a solar panel to power the Peltier. The air conditioning based on thermoelectricity may play an important role in sustainable air conditioning practices. With the Peltier device, suitably arranged in the area to be cooled, the required amount of cooling can be achieved to cool the surrounding area.en_US
