Abstract
IOT also known as Internet of Things, basically is referred to two main things. They are Learning and Interaction. It includes interaction with a large number of things which include Services, sensors, actuators,etc. It actually defines a specific type of network of physical Objects connected together which can gather and collect information or data. It also includes other objects present in the Internet. In this way, with the help of IoT, we can collect and transfer or exchange the data between these physical devices and this process is being used in our Agricultural Automation project. As multiple technologies, machine learning, systems that are embedded, etc nowadays are converging, the things used in IoT have evolved. As there are various types of problems related to the privacy or security in this field, every now and then industries as well as government try to overcome this issue and international standards are getting more developed. In this project, we are focusing on how this interaction and learning of things present on internet can help us connect different types of devices on their respective Platforms. By doing so, it will help the humans in different varieties of fields such as home automation, networking, data monitoring, etc . The best part of this project is that it needs very less efforts made by man and gives comfort at a very high level. In this project, we have developed an extension box which will enable two way switching operation. An IoT Android app “Agro IoT” is made where user can add any number of buttons for the equipments without any limitations to control the loads in the field. We are also going to attach a camera and humidity sensor. In this way, any abnormal activity or intrusion in the field can be avoided by monitoring of the fields. The sensor will check the soil moisture and will automatically control the motor to water the crops. Applications in farming are numerous. Energy can be saved at large extent by using this project in real time.
