Abstract
The Digital ID Card Application is a smart web-based system developed to create, manage, and display digital identity cards for users in an efficient and secure manner. The project aims to replace traditional physical ID cards with a modern digital solution that can be accessed anytime through a computer or mobile device. This application simplifies the process of storing user details, generating ID cards, and maintaining records digitally. In many organizations, colleges, and institutions, identity cards are still managed manually. The manual process consumes more time, requires physical printing, and creates difficulties in updating information. To overcome these problems, the Digital ID Card Application provides an automated platform where administrators can add user details, upload photos, generate digital cards, and manage records easily. The application is designed using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. HTML is used for creating the structure of webpages, CSS is used for styling and designing the user interface, JavaScript adds interactivity, PHP handles server-side processing, and MySQL stores the user information securely in a database. The system allows users to log in securely and access their digital ID card online. The administrator has full control over managing users, editing details, and maintaining the database. Each digital ID card contains important information such as name, ID number, department, contact details, and profile image. The generated card can also include QR codes or barcodes for quick verification.
